The MESP website has been enhanced to help make managing your 529 plan Account even easier! Yes, we are the program manager that makes it easy for you to do business with, keep track of your accounts and help you meet your college savings objectives.

Security at TFI is one of our core commitments to our investors. We have enhanced the MESP website to provide the security you need and the peace of mind you want. Click here to access your account and try out the new features.

User ID access - Instead of using of your Social Security Number to sign in, you will now be asked to create your own secure User ID and Password to access all of your accounts when you sign in.
Online Rebalances - Move existing contributions and any earnings into another investment option once per calendar year, or upon transfer of funds to a MESP Account for a different beneficiary.
View Pending Contributions - You are now able to view on-line contributions that have not yet posted to your MESP Account.
Establish or Change Automatic Contribution Plans - Invest regularly through this feature. Avoid the hassle of mailing a check each month.

Before investing in a 529 plan, you should consider whether the state you or your designated beneficiary reside in or have taxable income in has a 529 plan that offers favorable state income tax or other benefits that are only available if you invest in that state's 529 plan.

The State of Michigan, its agencies, TIAA-CREF Tuition Financing, Inc., Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America and its affiliates do not insure any account or guarantee its principal or investment return except for TIAA-CREF Life Insurance Company's guarantee to MESP under the funding agreement for the Principal Plus Interest Option. Account value will fluctuate based upon a number of factors, including general market conditions.

MET is not managed by TIAA-CREF Tuition Financing, Inc. nor is it distributed by TIAA-CREF Individual & Institutional Services, LLC.
